Maths - by Maui Hodge

In maths we are learning to add and subtract using different strategies, using the number line, algorithm or reversibility. For example:

376 - 199 = 177.

We round the 199 up by 1 to make it 200. We then say 376 - 200 = 176. We then add on the extra 1 to make it 177 because we rounded the 199 to a tidy number of 200.

Library

First library session and students are excited to engage themselves into various books. Jovana, Anna, Arvin and Noah pictured.





Wow! Fashion - olden day shoes are still available to see, and people take plastic surgery just for make-up. There are tons of outfits around the world, and whatever culture it is, the outfit is trying to match their country.

I chose this book because I am into fashion.
