Oceanographer and The Lost at Sea performance, By Sherly Liang

Yass! On Friday the 24 March, the senior syndicate from Sunnybrae Normal School were going to the hall to meet an oceanographer and watch a performance about ‘lost at sea’.

First, the oceanographer told us lots of facts about the ocean. For example: the fastest animal in the sea is a whale because he moves 10 meters in one second! The oceanographer also mentioned that if there are weeds and mud on the hull of a boat this could bring in bacteria into land. It will be bad because it can spread.

After lunch, we came to the hall and we watched the performance Lost at Sea. My highlight was when Cursty bit the head off a chocolate duck. I found out that the ducks head acted like a sail so it travelled faster in the water than the other toys.

There were 29,000 ducks plastic ducks. A boy collected 98 of these ducks and people call him Duck Boy (played by Mark).

In Summary:
It was so cool because they sometimes make up parts of the performance but there are facts too! I would never forget this.
