What I learnt this week, By Maui Hodge

Things that I learnt this week:

Friction is…
Friction is something that slows an object down. EG: wood that tries to slide down a ramp with sandpaper on it. The sandpaper slows down the sliding motion. If the piece of wood had tinfoil on it, this would slide faster, because there is less friction between the tinfoil and the wooden ramp.

Maori:
Turuturu = Be quite!

I thought that turuturu means to listen!
